Fantasy Feud Presents the Triple Play for 50k
During the 2013 MLB Season Fantasy Feud will be running satellite GPPs (Guaranteed Prize Pool
Leagues), and satellite leagues to gain entry in the $50,000 Triple Play contest starting Tuesday
How does it work?
The MLB Triple Play for 50k will be a 9-stage 50/50 league starting September 3rd with the final
taking place September 21st. There are 334 seats to this tournament. Each seat is worth $165 with
$150 going directly to the prize pool. The winner of the Triple Play will take home $20,000!
How do I qualify?
There are 4 ways to get a seat to the Triple Play for 50k:
Don’t wait to register. Once the 334 seats are claimed there will no longer be any seats
available. To ensure you are part of the Triple Play go to the draft lobby to buy a seat directly.
All satellite events will be marked with an ‘S’ in the lobby.
What is the prize structure?
In order to qualify for a cash prize you must survive 5 rounds of the Triple Play placing
you in the top 16.
Triple Play Payouts:
- 1st: $20,000
- 2nd: $10,000
- 3rd – 4th: $4,000
- 5th – 8th: $2,000
- 9th – 16th: $500
Roster rules regarding multiple entries in a 50/50 tournament event
In the event of a tie involving a user with multiple identical entries, additional seats will not be carried
forward outside of the number of entries that are set to advance. This rule only applies to users with multiple
Example: In the round of 16, where 8 users advance, user A has 4 teams that tie for 7th place. Only 2 teams will
advance having finished in 7th and 8th, the other 2 teams will be eliminated.
